A Dream in the Making

So way back when Zachary was about four, I needed new tires. And what a horrible thing to do to a four year old- drag them along to the tire store. Figure out how to put a gallery of pictures on there Well you see that wasn’t the case for that littleman. He was fascinated and little did I know 15 years later he would be rotating tires on an almost daily basis. You see that little four year old is pursuing a career in something that started back then – a love of all things related to car mechanics.

It’s hard for me as his mom to think that I have a young man who has finished his first week as a college student at Forsyth Tech Community College. He’s studying Automotives. He’s chasing his childhood love.

I believe in him. Many believe in him. As many are celebrating college dorm move in and decorating I’m celebrating the fact that I have a young man who is doing what he loves and I love being able to say “I’m a Forsyth Tech Mom”!

You seem him here in various ways in which he displays his love of car’s. From that four year old inspecting tires, to washing cars in the driveway, to trying to explain mechanics to parents who simply have to take his word(s), his love of the Kia Soul he calls his, to his “project” car Bill. Bill was the name of the person who the Jeep used to belong to before he went into the more immediate presence of Christ. Now my boy is learning much with working on it.

All things Cars!
