Today has been known as Minister’s Covenant Day; A time for Moravian Ministers take to contemplate and gather with nearby ministers (if any are nearby) and celebrate our common ministry and recommit to our ordination vows. Today I contemplated and gave thanks for the many ministries I’ve been blessed to be a part of with the vast multitude of people I’ve been surrounded by, serving with, dreaming, standing on holy ground with, and preaching and serving communion with.
Serving in Team Ministry with Joe at Palmyra Moravian, Mayodan Moravian, First Moravian of Georgia, Fries Memorial to my separate ministry at two Evangelical Lutheran of America Churches- Holy Cross Lutheran in Mocksville and Our Saviour’s Lutheran in Welcome.
I was chaplain of the volunteer fire department in Palmyra, NJ, Per Diem Chaplain at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, being on the Critical Incident Stress Management during the time of 9/11 and serving on and being chair of Lutheran Moravian Church Co-ordination Committee. And being a PRN Chaplain at Trellis Supportive Care.
A Master of Divinity from Moravian Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Hood Theological Seminary. Absolutely, is there a way that I can describe how wonderful being called by Christ to be a pastor, has been for me?
However, it’s been said “A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words”. So here are a multitude of pictures that are the start of what my ministry looks like! (And this is just a few from a scroll through my phone!)
