Rev. Dr. Kelly Moore is an ordained Moravian pastor serving in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Over her 25+ years of ministry, she has served in a wide variety of ministry settings- from urban to rural, in the north and the south.
In May 2024, she received her Doctorate of Ministry from Hood Theological Seminary. Her focus was on recognizing and understanding the need for clergy to respond to victims of child abuse and neglect in trauma-informed ways. The research showed that there is substantial room for further education of clergy in regard to how they respond to victims of child abuse and neglect with the compassion of Christ.
